New team logo

Due to the fact that many of the people are confused as to "Which team does that Tiong Chia belong to?!", we have come up with a new design that are more easily regconised! The new design have been place on top. (With many editing done to it Ie; edited away the flashlight & the uneven color using PAINT, Geez, but my PHOTOSHOP will be coming soon so be on a lookout for more fanciful editing!)

Credits goes to Tanny Tang, Big cookie Da Bing & me. If u have any comment or deem that the design needs to be edited (Ie; Change the fonts or size) pls feel free to leave a comment in this post. (Bottom, there's a comment link.) Currently, we have only left 1 more set of design but if u are interested, u can send a sms to Tanny & we'll contact our designated vinyl shop & restock. Nothing comes free in the world & it cost $6 per piece. (U can place it at any location u like but see the pix attached for a rough idea.)

We are toying around with the ideas of Nemesis Cap, Polo Tee, Tee-shirt etc. We'll be using the finalised design approved by all team members & material used will be of utmost quality. More will be discussed & revealed at the next meeting.

We are trying to be more organised & try to take this to a higher level. With the GOVT slowly opening up to motorsports racing in Singapore, why not take this chance to slowly build up our reputation & by the time motorsports is fully opened, we are ready for it. We have drivers that are skillful & even on par with current racing powerhouse in Singapore, we just lack the exposure.

*After so much have been said, Team Nemesis welcome any sponsorship of any kind & please contact us to work out a deal.

City Tyre Auto

All the team members of Nemesis & friends, the next time you wanna change ur rims or tyre, why not drop by City Tyre Auto at AMK AutoPoint. The manager there, Alex, is a friendly guy with a good knowledge of rims and tyres. Tell him what you need & most probably he'll be able to source out what you have in mind.

Personal expriences.

Was on a pretty heavy 16" rims for 3 yrs & decided to change to a light weight 15" for a faster straights. Alex quoted me a reasonable price & did warn me about the change in handling due to the sizing & tyres. Without much thoughts, i close the deal with him. The rest of the story can be found on the previous post. Sad story.

Went back today & Alex wasn't really suprise to see me. Told him i wanna trade my 15" for a 16" and use back my semi-slick. Ha! Really backside itchy. *He introduced me a personal kept 16" light weight rims that's less than 6kg & slightly more than 5kg. Top-up was minimal as partly towards labour cost. Being empathetic towards my situation, he throw in a set of racing nuts at a low price. End of the day, I'm a satisfied customer which wasted a fair bit of money due to my foolishness.

*Don't flame me because for a 16" rims to be slightly more than 5kg, yet maintaining at a relatively low price, is a good buy in my opinion.

My ride was back to the usual grip & i couldn't be happier. Couldn't wait for this friday & hopefully, the Nissan will be there again.

See you at the S-bend.

26th Nov - Orchard Gudang

Meet up point : As usual

Time : 1am onwards

Everyone came relatively early, and started rounding. traffic (for Tiong Chias & other Teams) is low. After a few lonely round, we gather back at the hideout, constantly keeping a lookout for teams & the sound of screeching tyres as well as BOV.

After 10 mins, receive a call that the cars in cineleisure have started to move out. Everyone got into their car & begin to start up their engine & hooking up to the comms set.

V.Cs' nicely done up cars (Team V.C - a name given for easy blogging)
Starting from a faint screeching to a loud roar of the wastegate, several cars consisting of Rexes, Civic, Sunny, Fit with full body decals corner through. Without wasting time, T.N's (Team Nemesis) cars kui and caught up with them at the traffic after esplanade. Each member have their own car to race with in mind. For me, the full body decal Nissan.

The Nissan was in front of me & i pushed it a little to try whether was he up for a friendly. Moments later i was i front at the traffic before YMCA. Once it turns green, I lurched forward followed closely by the Nissan. We zipped through the traffic till the S-bend. My car's new 15" rims with the new tyres showed their first sign of problem at the S-bend when they started to drift outwards at 90km/h. Got a shock & and felt it's wiser to slow down.

Though it was a short lived race, as there wasn't much lenght to race with, it was a pleasant one. Zipping through the traffic and a sighting of Tpee, everyone proceed with the Tpee protocol, Act blur slow down filter out. With much regrets, Team V.C couldn't be found after we regain rounding again.

Continental Sports cars. (Team C.S.S - a name given for easy blogging)
From the talkie, a M3 was sported heading our way. Soon enough, a M3 pull up beside us followed by a Z4 & Evo9 at the traffic. Astonishing but without any prejudice, the Z4 was driven by a pretty lady. Once the traffic turn green, the M3, Z4 & Evo lanuch forward. Giving chase to them are T.N very own Red Celica & Black Rex. Team C.S.S was quick and nibble in speed & cornering but T.N duo was equally fast & furious!

The race reach boiling pt at the traffic after esplanade, with the Evo9 using launch control system, began revving. At the start of green, the Evo9 leapt forward and losing only by a niche was T.N's Rex! Minimal wheel spin was heard and it goes to show the skills of the launching of both cars, Superb.

At the S -bend, the Z4, which in technical aspects, is suppose to be the best machine for cornering went in somehow really slow, raising a few eyebrows as to what is going on.

After the traffic at borders, Team C.S.S went in carpark and thus concluded the race between them. Kudos to them and their sports car, esp to the M3, which in case u don't already know, is a pretty rare breed on our island.

Lone Ranger yellow DC5R
As we were preparing to go to the highway, a yellow DC5R came in from C.K. Tang in high speed and the epic race of the 3 begin. T.N's Celica & Rex gave chase and it was exciting from the begining to the end. The trios' high speed overtaking and cornering was breath taking as the sound of wastegate from the Rex, Vtec from the DC5R & VVTL-i from the Celica drown all other noise as they tear down orchard road from Taka till P.S, all the way till Tanglin, making it almost 1 round of OG, with no one showing signs of letting go of each other or slowing down. But from reliable sources, the DC5R was Tear (Yup..TEAR!!) at every corner by the Celica + Rex & only manage to close in on the straights.

Things got to an end after the DC5R went away. Kudos to the DC5R!

Mix of Cars ( Team M.C - a name given for easy blogging)
I don't know much of what happen cause i went out due to lousy tyres. At the traffic of Hotel Rendevous, a Vios came up and race with me. Till a red light at Suntec. Once it turn green, The both of us launched and upon 2nd gear, the Vios was lacking behind. All of a sudden, a taxi went into my lane! Jam brake with the tyres screeching & the car was still inching forward! Once the Vios cleared from my right i swerve into the right, narrowing missing the taxi by a half a metre. The taxi wave me sorry and kept apologising. that was when i decide to call it a night, with the new-found determination of changing back to my semi-slick. Thai-made BadYear Chicken Fcuk1, u are a real disppointment.

It was highway racing after this team, without me of course. Kudos to Team Nemesis for another night of fun & thrills!

Drive safe & be safe!
